How Team Placement Works

Calgary Rangers follows a structured evaluation process designed to place every player in the environment that best supports their long-term development.

Players participate in September evaluations before coaches and technical staff build preliminary rosters. Throughout the preseason, staff continue evaluating players during training sessions before confirming final team placement. This process helps ensure every player develops in an environment appropriate for their stage of development.
